| I've Got A New Job |
| After a month of unemployment (and a badly needed escape from chaos and stupidity), I've now got a new job. I now work for the Office of Medical Education for the LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. I'm basically going to be in charge of the Information Management for the Office of Medical Education. I'm happy to have a job, even happier because all of the people that I'll be working with seem very laid back and easy going (like me). The pay is what I need it to be, and the benefits are GREAT. My official start date is Monday 2/12, so I'm sure as things progress out there, I'll post more. |

| I got laid off |
| Ok, so the psychotic company that I worked for laid me off on Friday. Apparently, they're not doing too good right now due to some of their clients not returning after Katrina, so they laid me off. Well... they may think that Katrina is the reason that the business isn't doing good, but the reality is that they just don't know what they're doing.
