Ok, I know I don't update this too often, but if anybody happens to look here, I'm safely evacuated from Hurricane Gustov in South Carolina.
After a month of unemployment (and a badly needed escape from chaos and stupidity), I've now got a new job. I now work for the Office of Medical Education for the LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. I'm basically going to be in charge of the Information Management for the Office of Medical Education. I'm happy to have a job, even happier because all of the people that I'll be working with seem very laid back and easy going (like me). The pay is what I need it to be, and the benefits are GREAT. My official start date is Monday 2/12, so I'm sure as things progress out there, I'll post more.
